There is something about science fiction that excites me so I cannot understand why, after writing for over forty years and publishing over twenty books, this is the first time I have tackled this genre. Not only that but I now realise, after finishing this book, how much fun and creative joy I have missed overn the years. To create or recreate a world that has been engineered in my minds eye has been one of the most satisfying projects to date. I have read all the great books written by iconic Sci-Fi authors but it was a great friend - a best selling Sci-Fi author, Stefan Vucak, who has written so many wonderful books and whose editorial work and publications made me realise I should write TIMEBREAK. I am at heart, a conservationalist and my story is deliberately aimed at the younger teen and older reader. I want them to know that if they do not want thier great grandchildren to live in a world like that which I depict in the book then they have to start doing something about cleaning the envirionment we live in. We are already seeing dictatorships ruling many countries and industry, uncontrolled, spewing contaminated waste into the ground, the seas and the air. Many living animal species are extinct or near extinct, running out of natural habitat or food.

TIMEBREAK is a story of adventure that depicts this world in 200 years time, suffering from neglect and ruled by a dictator with an army of humanoids supressing the right to freedom of speech and justice for all. My heros join the resistance to fight the evil and win while finding a lost friend whom they have followed into our future world. I hope readers enjoy the experience as much as I have enjoyed writing the story.
